He has a birthmark on his left armpit.Has previously considered getting a tattoo on his bicep, but he hasn't overcome his fear of needles. Something that happened after a traumatizing experience of a failed vaccination when he was six.Despite leading a pretty upright life, Raven wouldn't consider himself as a good person. When he was fifteen, he had a fight with his (now ex) best-friend. In the end, the dispute was settled after he planted fake evidence that his then-friend was cheating his way into getting good grades; due to the strictness of the school as well as the abundance of fake trace, the person was expelled and their record permanently tarnished. He hasn't told a single soul about this.A part of him hates his parents for not being there enough for him and his siblings (as they work outside the country and only return for the holidays.)Can't see himself getting married or having kids in the future. Raven's not someone who plans his whole life ahead of him, but he can see himself in the next ten years traveling around the world, gathering experiences and maybe writing a travel journal. But one thing's for sure, he can only see himself doing all of that alone.

Trigger warnings can be discussed. You and Raven are each other's emergency contacts. Whenever you need someone to talk to (about anything, whether it's just about your day or if you need to vent regarding anything that's bothering you), Raven's there for you, whether it's through text or call. Raven is usually the one who does more of the listening than the talking, used to keeping his emotions bottled up; this time though, he's been pushed over the edge, and the only thing that's keeping him from doing something reckless and potentially life threatening is by having you on the other line.

TW: Ghosts and all that creepy stuff. Possibly gore and blood. Other than his podcast, Raven is also interested in the supernatural. Or to be more specific, ghosts. He's not planning to be a full-on ghost buster, but after discovering a piece of information that leads him into believing that the abandoned apartment building near his is haunted, he places an ad on his university's bulletin board to find someone who'd be willing to check it out with him; all-out, with ghost tracking equipment and everything. In the end, he found you, and now it's time to set out and seek the truth.

It's been over ten years since Raven was a child, but even until now, he's curious about how you're doing; it's not that he makes it a habit to think of you, but sometimes you slip through his mind as you were his childhood crush. The last time he even talked to you was before you moved away, and that was that. He thought that was the last time he would ever meet you again, at least until one day he saw you tagged in a picture with one of his friends on Instagram. Since then, he's followed you and there was an attempt made to catch up. Nothing like meeting up in real life though, so you and Raven set up a platonic date to talk and really catch each other up to speed.

Although Raven doesn't speak to his parents often, he still keeps in touch with some of their family friends. You're the child of one of his parents' old business partners and he'd never thought he'd actually have a conversation with you again until he received a startling text message: That you needed someone to show up as your date for your older sibling's wedding. That would've been fine in itself, except your parents have the wrong idea: That you and Raven are actually dating. Getting through the wedding while having to improvise your supposed memories together and fooling the guests is harder than you'd think.
IT'S NOT LIKE I HAD
A ROUGH CHILDHOOD
Being the second oldest out of four kids isn't exactly the most favorable position. Raven was never the favourite child, nor was he ever the one who had all the expectations pinned on him. However, he was the overlooked child, the one whom his parents would only remember when they actively tried to think about their children. He has never, not even once, resented his siblings, though. Raven loves them more than anything in the world. It's just his parents that he couldn't care less about.The deep-lodged resentment really only became permanent after Raven learned that, no matter what he did, he still wouldn't be able to catch his parents' attention. He purposely picked fights in elementary school and the most he received was having his toys locked away when he was suspended. He opted for a different approach, instead aiming for the highest ranking for his grade in middle school, and was only given a pat on the head and nothing more. By the time high school rolled around, he'd stopped caring.There's a surprising amount of emotional baggage underneath the sunny smiles and his light-heearted jabs. He's just gotten better at better at compartmentalizing his feelings and turning to his workload whenever he feels like everything is getting a little too much. It should be a red flag, how much Raven throws himself into work and other activities while barely letting his body rest, but it's not as if anyone would notice, anyway. He's good at keeping them fooled.Staying child-like might be one of the only things still keeping him sane. His simplistic approach to life might gain him a few side-eyes, but Raven's developed this as a way for him to cope. And among his other mechanisms, this is probably the healthiest one, if not the only healthy one. (Yes somebody please get this child actual help.)
